Our Story
Siémbrala was born from a dream shared by Aleja and Carlos: to create a space where dance was more than technique, a path of connection, growth and authentic joy.
From our first workshops in borrowed rooms to becoming one of Medellin’s most beloved academies, every step has been guided by the same belief: dance has the power to transform lives.
Today, Siémbrala is a vibrant community of dancers who share a passion for salsa, culture and human connection.

Aleja
Co-fundadora, Instructora & Directora Creativa
Aleja discovered in salsa not just a dance, but a philosophy of life. Her teaching approach integrates body awareness, deep musicality and emotional connection. For her, every student has a unique dance waiting to be discovered, and her work is to help you find it.

Carlos
Co-fundador, Instructor & Director Musical
A trained musician and soulful dancer, Carlos brings a unique perspective to salsa teaching. His deep knowledge of Latin music allows him to guide students toward an organic understanding of rhythm, structure and expression. Every class with Carlos is a musical journey.
